Terms Of Service
Effective date: July 30, 2026
Welcome to Open Margin. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://openmargin.net and any related pages, checkout flows, and digital products we offer (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Who we are
Open Margin provides digital productivity products for creative freelancers and independent makers. Contact: openmargin1@outlook.com.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to purchase from us. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide at checkout.
Products and descriptions
We sell digital goods such as PDF planners, trackers, and related downloadable materials. We aim for accurate descriptions, previews, and pricing. Minor differences in appearance due to screen, printer, or app settings are normal and not defects.
Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated and may change at any time before you complete a purchase.
Orders and payment
When you place an order, you offer to buy the selected product at the stated price. Payment is processed by Stripe and any payment method you choose (card, wallets, etc.). We (or our payment provider) may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or technical issues. If we cancel after charging you, we will refund the charge.
Delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically after successful payment—typically via download link, email, or account access. Delivery timing depends on email providers and your connection; contact us if you do not receive access promptly.
You are responsible for downloading and safely storing your files. Re-download access may be available for a limited time or via support request at our discretion.
License and permitted use
When you purchase a digital product, Open Margin grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the files for your own personal or internal business planning. Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, you may not:
- Resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute the files or derivatives as a competing product
- Upload our files to public template marketplaces or shared drives for others’ use
- Remove copyright, brand, or license notices from the materials
- Claim the designs as your own original commercial product
One purchase is for one person (or one seat), not an unlimited team license, unless we sell an explicit multi-user or commercial license.
Intellectual property
All site content, product designs, text, graphics, and trademarks remain owned by Open Margin or our licensors. Purchase does not transfer ownership of copyright or trademarks—only the limited license above.
Refunds
Refunds and remedies for digital products are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to hack, scrape in an abusive way, interference with other users, or using the site for unlawful activity.
Disclaimers
The Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Digital planning tools are complementary aids; results depend on how you use them. We do not guarantee specific productivity, income, or business outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Open Margin and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us for that purchase in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Open Margin against claims arising from your misuse of the products, violation of these Terms, or infringement of someone else’s rights—except to the extent caused by our own wrongful conduct.
Third-party services
Checkout, hosting, and other features may rely on third parties (for example, Stripe or our storefront platform). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update products, pricing, features, or these Terms. Material changes to Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Terms in effect at the time of a purchase govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to the site or revoke download access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or created risk for us or other customers.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you non-waivable rights. Those rights remain available to you.
